Conv.Lo Wall from CF to RF?

Just a small query folks, GM make a nice heavy tapered oct. barrel in
#3 weight in .22 magnum, just one of the caliber possibilities for my
Lo Wall project - to convert to rimfire, do I only need 3 parts (rf breech
block, rf firing pin and rf extractor) - is it easy to do?
Another choice is to get the same barrel and rechamber it to .222 rimmed (1in14"twist)
Mainly to be used as a walkabout varmint rifle with a little range practise.
I'd appreciate some views on the above. thanks  boz.

2nd the 22K Hornet, have a low wall in that caliber and it is a blast to shoot with cast & cheap with low vel loads. Smiley

Thanks for the suggestions fellas, I'll think about the K-Hornet, but would
the .218 Bee with a 1 in 14" twist be a bit better for cast 50 & 55gn?
I noted some good velocities inthe .218 Bee using L'l Gun tho I don't
know if I can get any here (OZ).......boz.
