does any one know where i can get a stock for browning 1885 ?i would like to put a pistol grip on .

I assume you are speaking of something you will finish yourself. If so, Treebone has a good rep with a few of the gunsmiths I've spoken to about building a rifle. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Doen't know where you might find one but a take off original Model 78 stock should fit with little work if that is what you are looking for.

CPA has the Browning and Miroku Winchester Highwall stocks listed, the Browning is shown with pistol grip and cheek piece. Give CPA a call and I'm sure they can help you find what you want.

I'm making patterns for the Browning/Win  BPCR stocks that will fit on the 22RF and Trad Hunter. I also am going to have a schuetzen style  for all three styles, that thru bolt makes it easy to change them around. Pete
