Lyman Wolverine Scope rings

I picked up an old Lyman Wolverine scope on an older SS rifle. rifle.  It was in a set of 1" modern Burris rings and it was clear it didn't fit properly.  The previous owner had shimmed it with tape and simply clamped the rings down.  I measured the scope diameter and it is slightly over 1" more like 1.02".  What did they use for rings on that model?
I noticed the original rings clamped at 12:00 on each ring with a single sccrew rather than two screws on each side of the rings, top to bottom.
The scope is clear, adjusts well, and is about ten power, but is currently a paper weight until I can figure out a ring solution.

You need rings for a 26mm scope.  If you can't find a set, Brownells still makes the adapters that I designed for them, so that you can use a 30mm ring set:  084-000-094.
