Parker-Hale PH7a rear sight for sale.

Anyone wanting a rear sight for a BSA .22" Martini action single shot rifle there is a Parker-Hale PH7a sight up for sale here:-

It looks good, adjustable for windage and elevation with adjustable apature disc.

It's not mine and I have no connection to the seller. Good luck if your bidding.

The eyepiece caught my attention too.  I think it is an early PH eyepiece.  Later the hole was centered on the disk and PH advertised the later (more common) eyepiece as the "dead center" six hole eyepiece.  At least that is my story and I am sticking to it.

David, if you look at the catalogue illustration for the model 3 rear sight you will see the eyepiece in question:

The eyepiece on the 7A on ebay appears to be from an earlier model 3.

For you gentlemen who are interested, the sight brought 80.00 Pounds Stirling, or US $ 126.58., plus postage.

The first BSA 12/15 I bought way back in the late 1960's had an identical sight fitted. I wish I could buy 12/15's for £20.00 today.

The wonders of Ebay.  I just purchased a similar sight with the six hole eyepiece, dead center type, for $35 US.  I suspect someone may have been specifically looking for that eyepiece to drive it up so high.
