Another Stevens Model 44

Last week I obtained a late model Stevens 44 with a round barrel, and a Belding & Mull 9X target scope.  Thi rifle is very clean, very tight, and has an excellent bore.  It is chambered in 32-20

Nice package. Like the scope also. I have a 44 in .32-20 and it is a fun gun in this caliber. You will enjoy shooting this one!

Ed,

That is a very clean 44 and scope set up quite nicely!! Please keep us posted on your shooting results.

Thank You Gentlemen:

I have assembled a batch of low intensity rounds, and will get to the range, weather permitting, and that thing about the creeks and all.  I have a martini in the same chambering, and it likes a hot load.  I'll take both.  Pictures soon.

Smart idea. The 44 is not the toughest action Stevens made but should be fine with moderate loads with the .32-20.
