Barrel Liner Clearance??

Hi All,

Was wondering how much clearance do I need when installing a barrel liner. I intend to use JB to hold the liner in.

I try for .002" but I use Loctite not JB weld.

JB is good stuff, but you don't need a filled epoxy...the steel filler particles take up too much room.  Since liners are not always the exact same outside diameter from one batch to another, I would recommend going with .004" to .006" clearance, and use a clear epoxy.  I still use Acraglas, just because I still have a fair amount on hand.
