Can't seem to get ahold of Ballard Arms, any other source for the main spring and forend lugs?
Thanks in advance,
Mike T.

Try this contact although he isn't showing lugs.  Steve Meacham should have a lug.

Keith Kilby at the Wyoming Armory will have what you need. I've been shooting the Low Wall .22LR I got from him for about a week and it is very accurate. The single-set trigger is terrific, as is the fit and finish of all his work. Highly recommended. I posted a pic or two of the rifle in the single shot rifle picture thread if you want to see his work.

Steve Earle was at Etna Green this weekend with his road show of wonderful pieces parts.  I am certain he had the fore end lug, and believe he also had the mainspring mounting block.  If not, he probably can make it for you.  You might call him or check his website in a couple of days when he is back in the shop.

Already posted this someplace ells. Wisner's has the forearm lug for the Model 70 which is almost the same as the 1885 and will work fine. He also has the screw.
