i have been at the range twice when rifles turned into a hand gernade. none were mine i am happy to say.. the ones i have seen go were shot with cast bullets with fast powders. about all i shoot is cast with unique,2400 or other powders that could be double charged. on one if the shooter had not been wearing glasses he would be called one eye. just a reminder to all of us who cast and load our own check and double check and then if not sure make sure. joe gifford aka argie1891

Just a reminder.  Some of the 25-20 SS loads in the old loading books are way too hot for the 44 action.  It is easy to get into trouble with Unique.  Be careful.
