and still necessary.
It's the only thing that really works properly when I need to pick up the hammer and get the anvil a'ringing. Soft coal's getting tougher to find - they try to make you buy the harder anthracite which burns too hot for some things.  Wink

sheesh---A guy asks us a legitimate question about fititng a fore-end and it turns into the Mad Hatters tea party, complete with Harlow---I love it.
Who needs a humor section when we can just answer people's questions.  Cheesy

JoeS I hope you got a working answer before the party started--and enjoyed it anyway

Sorry DW. We did the wrong thing and didnt take Joe's question serious enough. Well, we sorta did there for a while.
It's all Joe Bs fault for bringing up the steam powered airplane era thing. So now I just want to add one more great steam powered airplane era invention.  The Xray glasses. I wanted a pair of these when I was little in the worst way. Now that I have the money they don't make um no more.
Dang! Sad

hey no need to apologize at all Joe,  my critique was tongue in cheek anyway--or at least intended that way.  I was enjoying the roller coaster ride and hoping the questioner did too!
This site gets WAY too serious most of the time anyway.

Well, I'll apologize to Joe_S.  Smiley Sorry about going off on tangents.

But it was fun. Wouldn't have been able to enjoy blineye's post if we hadn't, and it was a really good one!  Smiley

One thing that confuses me though, why is natural organic food supposed to be so good for you, but natural organic fuels are VERBOTEN!! Wink Oh well.

I would still like someone to explain to me in detail, how a plastic nut and a pointed screw makes a barrel -- free floating.  I've heard this statement before and it has me baffled.  Maybe John Boy could explain it?  Hint hint!   Smiley
