I am going to have some spare funds I could spend on this rifle. It is possible that this rifle may have been a Schuetzen at some point but there is no serial number so I cannot paper it. Currently it is a .219 Donaldson-Wasp and shoots consistent 3/4 inch groups at a 100 yards so I do not want to rebarrel. What I think I would like to do is have the receiver and lever color case hardened, wood refinished and a reblue. What you all think? Other suggestions? Suggestions on who to do the work? I would be able to spend up to about $2,000 or so if needed.
