Where would I find the pieces to convert a Win. LoWall 22RF trigger to a set trigger of any style (prefer single but that is not important)?

Before I plough into this topic, I have to know which low-wall you are talking about, original or one of the newer ones, and if newer, US, Italian or Japanese?

What DWS said.  Also, I understand C Sharps makes a SST, so you might try him as well.

Froggie and DWS are right.  Contact Steve at (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) I am sure he can furnish the parts you need.

Before anyone drives off the bridge check to see what kind of a low wall you have. The only ones that convert without modifying everything are Winder musket actions, they are essentially cut down high walls. A regular low wall has different dimensions and the parts modified.

First, regardless of set trigger type, you will need to modify the hammer with a fly... this involves slitting the hammer and adding a small flat piece (the fly) which will pivot on a pin you must also install on the hammer at the same time... this is not necessary on the later low-wall muskets as they were already slit.

The trigger itself needs to be modified or replaced with the SST version and add the little auxillary sear and its spring and the adjusting screw.  Both the knock-off spring and the sear spring may need replacing or adjusting and the sear may or may not need modification... the "proper" ones had a little groove to clear the fly.  Then you have all the parts to make an SST, and you can get busy trying to make it all work together.  More later.
