That photo showing my 7mm Waters is a model 10. Just found another photo of the action which says so and the machining on it which doesn't show up on the first photo.
Makes these thick sided BSAs look much slimmer and a lot less chunkier.
Just had the Cataract in my right eye done on Friday and oh boy what a difference, everything so much brighter, sharper and clearer, these things come on so gradual that you just don't realize what you are losing.
If you have Cataracts and have to pay for the surgery, sell your most prized rifle and get it done, you won't regret it.
Regards.

I do not think BSA made a thick sided Model 10. Catalogs I have do not mention the model 10's after WWI timeframe. Those that I have seen in person, and that is very few, were all thin sided. Since BSA did not mark the rifles with the model number, it is really tough to tell what you have, especially if you only get an action. Thick sided actions were used in models 12, 12/15, 15, 13 and some 8's.

No matter, I like the sculpturing of the metal. Neat looking rifle. One in 22LR would be nice s a small game stalking rifle.

Hi M1,
dropped over today to pick up another Martini that was having a trigger job done by my local gunsmith who made up this rifle and who is now in his seventies and has been working all his life as a gunsmith told me today that he didn't know what model it was.
Regards.
