Finally, 38-50 Rem., Home made action and tang sight, Green Mountain #3 barrel, Shaver front sight, Stock blank, buttplate and fore end iron from Treebone.

Thanks to many of you for the help. Won't try to give names because I would leave someone out. Bluing and more stock finish after I get through tweaking. Seems to want to shoot about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes fireforming brass. I need photography lessons.

That's a beautiful rifle indeed Chuckster. It has better lines than the original, due no doubt to your subtle altering of the angle of the tangs to the barrel center line.

Nice work! I especially like that you smother out the lines of the frame to take out that hunchback look.

Thanks, Think it would have looked better with a little more radius on top, so that the intersection of the top radius and the sides sort of lines up with the corners of the flats on the barrel. Would not hurt strength and remove some bulkiness from the side view.  Not going to change it now.
