PEABODY PARTS

I'm building up a new Peabody side hammer and wanted new lock internals, most I found at Dixie Gun Works new old stock, but the suprise was that C. Sharps Arms tumbler from the model 1874 Sharps fits right in, CNC machined with a fly too for 85.00. Not a bad price. I had allways heard that the 1874 lock and the Peabody lock and Spencer lock were all the same internaly well know I know for sure that they are. Maybe the Sharps hammer will fit too.

I believe S&S Firearms in New York has original Peabody hammers.  Also Bill Lodgewood probably has parts.  Spencer hammers are REAL close, if not identical.
