how to post pictures

I'm new to this site and want to post pictures with my message. How do I post the pictures? I've tried using attachments but it kicks me out saying they are too big.

Westy,

If your picture "file size" is too large to permit attaching to your post, you can use a program like Microsoft Office Picture Manager (or others) to reduce (resize or compress) your picture to a file size that is smaller than the max allowed.
