I need help with this, too.  Just tried to post some pictures; they are from 1.00 to 1.71 MB.  I have no clue how to shrink them.  Any help would be appreciated.

Chances are your computer has some sort of photo editor. You need to open your image in that program and use "Help" to find the function needed to shrink the file size. When you are done you can right click on the image file and under "Properties" it will tell the size of the file. Once you have it below 500 it should work.

I have Windows Photo Gallery.  It has features to "fix" photos (correct red eye, crop, adjust exposure, adjust color), but I don't see anything about changing resolution or otherwise shrinking file size.  Help says to use a photo editing program to do that.  Any more hints?

Thanks.

My computer came with Microsoft Digital Image. I just go to the "Format" pulldown and go to resize image and resize it.

There is a free photo viewer/utility called XnView that does a good job of converting/resizing.

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
