John lived and worked in the Simi valley area of ventura county, Ca. all his life and a couple of years ago took off for the wilds of idaho.
I believe he stocked that rifle for the late Bill Winfield who owned Winfield lumber in Simi valley.
He is a true master, stockmaker, engeaver and metalsmith. His Spurs have sold in the auctions held at the cowboy hall of fame annually for 20K plus.
you have a real piece of art there, could you post pictures for us?
