I had mentioned this in DWS8130's post.  I just want to make sure I get this out before I contact Mr. Rose.
Here's the offer:
If you have Alexander Rose's new book "The American Rifle:  A Biography", Mr. Rose has offered to sign book plates for anyone who wishes to have one.  This is a great addition to anyone's book collection, especially if you enjoyed the book.  I met Alexander Rose through an interview opportunity and he's a wonderful author and a nice guy.  He signed my book and a few more copies for giveaway prizes.  At that time he told me that if I needed autographed book plates he'd be glad to sign them.  I'm pretty sure he'll personalize them if I don't get a ton of requests.  As of now I just have Greenfrog on the list.  Froggie, if you don't mind I'm going to give this 2 weeks as of today and then send them all in.  PM me and let me know how you want your book plate signed and if he'll do it, you'll get it.
