219 barrel lug

Am needing to attach a lug to a barrel for a 219 savage, either welding or silver solder. Would appreciate advice.

I understand they were silver soldered, but if I were trying to make up a barrel for my self, I would try to find somebody to do electron beam welding like the T-C Contenders use.  I'm hoping I can build a barrel for my Maynard that way.   Wink
