Hi Harry,
small world.
Did you ever hear of Nigel Hinton who got one of the first practical pistol clubs going in the early seventies in Kent.
He went with his wife to live in Italy and I lost touch with him whilst living in Australia and then New Zealand for the last thirty years.
I used to also shoot long range pistol with him at the Hythe military range in Kent and my main memory of this is the muzzle flash and also the cylinder/barrel flash that you get from a 44 magnum when firing at dusk on a late sfternoon in winter.
It would be good to know if he is still around.
Regards, Roly.

Hi EdBu,
sorry to take so long to reply but I wouldn't want you to hold your breathe whilst waiting for a stock as this rifle took three years to get finished and I have another one on order.
Regards, Roly.

Hello Roly,

A small world indeed. Like you I haven't seen Nigel for about 30 years I lost touch with him way back in 19 & 79.

I also did some Long Range Pistol shooting at Bisley using a TDE .44 Automag. Your right when fired at dusk you don't need a bullet at close range, the flame from the muzzle would burn a hole in most things. Very impressive.

Harry
