Ballistics--Down Range Velocity vs Cross Winds

Ballistically speaking, I am interested in knowing more about the relationship between the down range (not muzzel velocity because that's where it all begins) velocity, say at 100 yards and again at 200 yards and the affect of cross winds, either left of right prevailing at a 90 degree angle to the line of flight.

Essentially, does a higher projectile velocity down range counteract against a cross wind?  Meaning the more projectile speed the less wind deflection ?

A 213 gr bullet with a muzzle vel of 1495 will have 1329 fps at 100 yds and 1187 fps at 200 yds.
Yes time of flight has a lot to do with wind drift!
With a 10 mph wind at 100 yds you will have 2.27" of wind drift
with a 10 mph wind at 200 yds you will have 9.24" of wind drift
