I have 3 cans of what I think is old Military surplus 4831.
They are in a reddish/yellow can & are unopened.
Anyone know what the value might be?

Thanks,

Cat

What Jim said.

Some of the surplus stick powder is equivalent to H4895, not 4831. Things could get rather exciting!
Good luck, Joe

If it's marked 4831, and you just don't recall if it's surplus or not, test it out.

If it's completely unmarked....  hate to say it (being cheap and all), but do dump it.

Me?  I'd test it out..... with a long string, sandbags, and a face shield.
Never been accused of being overly bright, though.
