There are a bunch of screws on a Winchester 1885 that have weird thread like that.   The lower tang side screws are also 35-1/2 tpi.  The ones on my modern copies are all 36 tpi.

I placed my MVA order on the 8th and it included 2 flat spring mounts.  The entire order showed up today. Great service.

MVA is excellent, in every regard.

They put out a quality product, second to none.
Reasonable price for the quality, not outrageous.
Impeccable customer service and response.
Charge enough to have a long time stable business, so they're there when you need them for service or parts or additional items a few years down the road.
Stable product, so you can buy it again, and get parts.

The above is a recipe for a successful business.  It's hard to understand why a lot of other businesses don't follow it.
