I have some cartridges,

Not reloads,and I am curious as to the value,is there any Internet site listing the current value?
What I have are;
.40-70 W.R.A.  S.S. Paperpatch
.44-60 W.R.A. Paperpatch
.40-90 Bottleneck paperpatch
.40-1 7/8"ths Paperpatch
.577 NitroExpress Kynoch

Jeff,
Try Googling either Rifle Cartridge Collecting or Pistol Cartridge Collecting and you will get dozens of hits.

Do not Google Cartridge Collecting unless you want a lot of ink printer cartridges.  Sad

The value of your cartridges depends a lot on condition, headstamp, age and rarity. A pity EBay won't allow live ammo for auction. Don't be tempted to deactivate these rounds, they would be worth considerably less.

And if you're looking to sell them...let me know once you decide on the price. I don't need another 577 but in a package deal I'd take them all. Thanks

I find that the  IAA forum is an exellent place to answer those kind of questions.
