I wanted to thank everyone who contacted me about this rifle- alot of interest but no luck finding a new owner. I'm beginning to think I overpaid for this rifle. I bought it apx 10 years ago for 2k, this is what I would like to get out of it. I would like to get some opinions as to a fair asking price for a rifle like this. Also I would ask if you know someone who has a interest in owning a rifle like this to please contact me. I will check in periodically. It's a wonderful looking rifle, with a documented history...
I think it's worth what you think it's worth... you just haven't connected with the right buyer yet.
Trust me, you'll find someone that sees that rifle and gets that glint in their eye for it!

Personally, I can't understand why you'd SELL such a nice peice.. but that's just me..

SOLD , met with the new owner today-he looked the rifle over and found it to be as represented. Both parties satisfied. I found the new owner to be quite knowledgable, and plans to load and shoot this rifle.(and he is a nice guy to boot) I hope it gives him many years of enjoyment. Again thanks too this board for allowing me to help find a new home for this rifle. regards dave
