A. O. Zischang rifles

As a cartridge collector, I am interested in the calibers of August O. Zischang marked rifles.  In my collection, I have four cartridges that I bought several years ago that are identified as Zischang cartridges. Three of these (25-20 Zischang, .28-25 Zischang, and .30-30 Zischang) were made from .32 Ideal cases. The fourth (.30-35 Zischang) appears to have been made using a .32-35 Maynard or Stevens case. I have included a picture below of the four cartridges, in the same order as listed above. The cartridges are also pictured with dimensions on my web page

I have not found much on Zischang and nothing on his cartridges in my reference books or on the internet. I'm looking for any information on these cartridges and any others that may have been designed by Zischang. Thanks.

About 20-30 years ago or more Gerald Kelver, who had been editor of ASSRA's newsletter for many years, wrote about 4 or 5 little books that were actually collections of articles from the newsletter and other sources to which he was privy.  AOZ is mentioned in a couple of those, but more for his rifles than his cartridges.  I believe Michael Petrov (who frequently stops by on this board) has recently released a large work on the custom gunmakers of America, so perhaps can tell you whether Zischang is covered and give you ordering info.  How about it MP?
