Finally got a project finished.  Took a BSA 12 Martini, relined the bore with a 17cal Redmond liner, rechambered bead blast blued, the took an old English walnut blank I had laying around and had Great American Stocks rough out a stock for me.  Just got her all finished, sanded and oiled.  Niedner type buttplate just installed......now off to the range to see how she shoots!

Your rifle looks very nice. Which .17 cal. cartridge did you chamber it for? I'm just beginning a similar preject. A 12/15 takedown action with a Green Mountain barrel in .17 HM2. Let us know how she shoots.

She is in 17HMR!  I recently finished a takedown in 17Mach2, Green Mountain bull barrel....now that one shoots well under an inch a 100....here is a pic:

Could you please advise what scope rail you have on your .17 rifle, looks like it was made to be there !!

looks like a BKL to me - thats the mount rings combo - the rail looks like it could be just a standard 3/8" dovetail - but not my rifle - but it sure does does look sweet - rimfire

The mount is a standard BKL 4".  The rail is standard 3/8.  It is just ideal for the small frame martinis.  Lets you get good eye relief and allows plenty of space to clear loading and ejecting!
