Howdy All
I am searching for all the parts to make a DST set-up for a model 1885. Not having any luck with normal sources like Rodney(doesn't answer messages). I was wondering if the parts for a Uberti hi-wall would fit, anybdy know. I have asked this question to a few companies that sell parts for the Uberti etc, but have not heard back from them yet either. Maybe my breath. Any help apppreciated.
Thanks Tom

Tom, your best bet is Ballard Rifle Company in Cody, WY.  The 1885 that they make is supposed to be an exact copy of the original, down to parts interchangeability.  They also manufacture all the Winchester trigger types, plain, SST, CCDST, and Schuetzen triggers.  They ain't cheap, but will fit.

Some years back Ben Rick in PA made splendid Schuetzen style DST assemblies, breechblocks too, Krag handguards, etc., a grand gent, he has passed on now.
