What do you think a Schuezenmaster would say about a bolt on barrel extention to make a 18 inch .22 lr barrel long enough to pass the rule. Esentaly a bloop tube like the free rifle shooters use to add weight. ?

Section 1.16 Barrels

Barrels may be of any length in excess of 21.5" and any weight, but for bench rifles the barrela shall be about 2" in dia or less.

The barrel need NOT be rifled for the entire length but must fully encircle the bullet as it passes through the un-rifled section.

I think you could roll up a target, tape it on and use that as a barrel extension to be legal.  Muzzel blast might rag it up a bit.

Fully encircle, that's pretty easy to do and a whole lot cheaper than a new barrel.

Thanks guys
