Fecker Telescope

I have an as new 12 power Fecker w/ mounts. What would be a fair price for this?

I shot a Fecker 12 Power for several years as a smallbore competitor back in the fifties. At that time, they were considered on a level with the Unertl and Lyman SuperTargetspots. Of course, you had people that favored one over the other, but these three were THE target scopes.

I would imagine, simply because there were fewer of the Feckers around, that the price would be somewhat less than a Unertl or a Lyman of similar condition. I would think that the difference would be no more than fifty or one-hundred dollars, or so.

Keep in mind, it is worth only what someone is willing to pay...

That scope is probably worth $450-$500. Watch the target scopes on e-bay for a while and get a good notion of what they go for. If it were me, I'd put it up on Auctionarms.com with no listing fee for $450 or $500, and just wait. He'll come by.

I'd hang on to it. To my mind the Feckers are easier to adjust that either the Unertls or the Lymans as you can keep your eye in the scope as you adjust it. The optics are just as good as either.
