If I mount a Ballard tang sight on my 1873 Maynard, will the result be a Mallard or a Baynard?   Shocked

I think that I know that somebody makes a Maynard sight. Is it the Parts Unknown guy? Romano? I can't get it to sludge through.

Ballards may be weaker,

Technically it would be a Balmay, or a Lardnard! Grin

Grin  Deck the 'walls with Maynard's folly,
Ballard la de dah, and Stevens lose.
All are fun but bring a challenge,
what you like's what you should choose.   8)
