rwjshooter;
I have just purchased a 97d in 6ppc.It is waiting my return,so I will not know the results till sometime in June,when I'll post results.I know a bunch of shooters,none of which has so much as seen one.However dumb as I am I just had to get one.It took about 6 months for it to be shipped.The people were great to deal with,no problems there.I can hardly wait to see it.

rwjshooter,
There are a bunch of us here in the VA/Carolinas area (and our "family" on up into Ohio, even
) who are shooting the Charlie Dell-made version of that cartridge concept. In all cases it is based on the .357 case or its equivalent necked down to a true .32 caliber. Everyone I know of shoots it breech seated with bullet weights around 200 gr. +/- 10 gr or so. One favorite powder lately has been Hodgden's surplus H-108, but unfortunately the last know supply of that has been sold as of this writing.
My personal "formula" is a 200 gr Barnett S-7 bullet cast at 25-1 pure lead and tin and seated about 1/16" in front of the case. I am using Starline .357 brass necked down with a push die and arbor press, Federal Small Rifle Match primers and about 11.6 gr. of the H-108 with a 3/16 cork wad seated about 0.01" off the powder to contain it. I shoot this in a bench gun with Peregrine action and Douglas barrel with very happy results. YMMV, of course.
