Can you identify this single shot?

Inherited this from my Grandfather.  It's got an ocatagonal barrel. No indication of manufacturer or what it shoots, but it appears to be about 30 caliber (30-30 round fits snugly in the muzzle) and appears to take a cartridge substantially similar in size to a .30 Carbine (which I suppose it could actually be).

Any ideas?

Thanks

Looks like a Flobert 9mm rimfire to me......  It's a flobert anyway, probably belgium made, value about $125-$175.

Based on other Flobert info I've found on-line, it's probably .32 rimfire.  It's definately smaller than 9mm.

Thanks for the help...

Peace

More specifically a Warnant-style Flobert - which is the most 'solid' one, although that doesn't mean much.  Usually gallery/parlour rifles, and low-powered rimfire rounds.
