This final volume of Wal Winfer’s British Single Shot Rifles grew to over 400 pages, so it had to be split into two books.
Book 1 — $85.62 (215 pages) covers rifles produced by Field, Rigby, and several other British makers, with extensive descriptions and many illustrations reproduced in professional-quality color.
Book 2 — $85.00 (205 pages) Includes a major study of Daniel Fraser’s rifles, along with break-open rifles, powders, primers, ammunition, and reloading methods. As with the earlier volumes, there is a wealth of technical information, accompanied by numerous illustrations. These two books complete Winfer’s monumental study of British single-shot rifles, a remarkable undertaking that took many years to complete.
Because so many of our customers live overseas, and international postage has become outrageously expensive, I decided to offer these books through an on-demand printer, Lulu. They have printing facilities in several countries, which can greatly reduce overseas shipping costs. Lulu handles the printing, packing, shipping, postage, and applicable local taxes. Tom, is there a copy of the index printed somewhere? I assume that the break opens are opened with a side lever.
