I'm looking for an odd duck: years ago Jamison Brass made a run of .25-20 BASIC brass which I'm in desperate need of. The brass is 1.785" long, straight untapered and of .25-20 Single Shot head diameter. 

I gather their intent was to provide a basic brass from which all the variants could be formed, such as .25-20SS, .22-3000 Lovell, R2 Lovell, etc. Why they made it so long is beyond me.

I bought 20 pieces of it back then on a whim, I wish I had bought more because I have acquired a Ballard with a very odd chamber, a chamber that weirdly contains this BASIC brass perfectly. That original 20 pcs. is now only 18 pcs. and I fear for the future of this cute little Ballard!
