I have one on my Ken Hurst Engraved Rolling Block I acquired from George Peterson at Treebone Carving. It is featured on his website as "Creedmore Rolling Block" left handed action. Maybe he remembers where he got it. It works great even for a right hand shooter. I'd post photos but cannot shrink them down to post.

They have to be made to order as Remington never manufactured it.  We have taken the occasion to create one when a block came in with the thumb piece broken off. If a thumb piece needs to be added it matters not which side.  Anyone good with TIG can handle the task.  We have a member here who does fine micro microwelding.  The key is to make sure the block/extractor style is compatible with the action. Remington made at least 18 different military breech blocks by 1896 and three more during the smokeless era.  They are not all compatible with each other.

Why would a left handed RB be a big deal? It’s such an easy rifle to operate in its original form.

I find it is easier when you can thumb hammer back with right thumb, open breech block with left thumb, and remove spent case with right hand. Reverse on loading. It is smoother and faster in operation but that may just be me.

Because he’s left handed and that’s what he wants 🤷🏻‍♂️
