Ruger #1 Buttstock

I recently bought some stocks that I needed at auction and in the lot was a buttstock for a Ruger #1.  This is an exceptionally beautiful piece of Walnut with lots of colorful streaking and burl pattern in it. There are a few small spots of open grain in it but should cause no problems with finishing. Someone fitted this to a rifle and I think that it should be a drop in. The butt was fitted to what appears to be a Neidner style butt plate and all work looks to have been done professionally. It also has a nice shadowline cheek piece which is quite nice. The thing is that I don't need it and would like to see it go to someone who will use it. If I keep it it will just go on a shelf get covered with dust and forgotten until someone tosses it into a wood stove 20 years down the line. I can't post pictures but if someone wants it I will sell it for $100 plus shipping. I will require no payment unless the buyer likes it. If not it can be returned to me and I will pay the postage. It's just too nice to waste.
