	For Sale: Ballard Schuetzen Rifle with Double-Set Triggers; .38-55 Win caliber This rifle belonged to past ASSRA Member, Bob Glenn. The action has double-set triggers that function correctly. The lever is a little rough and may have come from a casting. Both sides of the action are marked AUG MEYNS and I don't know the relationship. The 30-inch barrel is full octagonal and tapers from 1.123" to 1.009" at the muzzle. The barrel is unmarked, even under the forearm. The bore is excellent! ... shiny, smooth as butter, and clean. The Schoyen-style wood is very nice and has a very good wood-to-metal fit on the buttstock and forearm. The rifle weights 13lbs 5 oz. 	The “AUG MEYNS” marking on a Ballard Schuetzen rifle refers to the maker of the action — August Meyns — a German gunsmith known for producing high‑quality lever‑action rifles, including the Ballard Schuetzen model
