Had this made about ten years or so ago as I was finding it hard going carrying a heavy rifle and scope all day in the bush.
It was wishful thinking.

I like it!

I have a fairly light 30-30 but in a highwall.  #3 half octagon 28" long.  It's a fun cartridge to shoot.

Chris.

Very cool. I like it! (But I'll bet recoil is rather stout with factory equivalent loads.)

Its a lovely little rifle and so quick to get on target with that rear sight.
Loaded down and a lite bullet no problem with recoil.
The breach block has been bushed and a smaller firing pin fitted along with a new extractor to fit the 30-30 Win case.
19 inch barrel.
