Great.
Get a few drops of acetone on your fingers, it’s in your heart in 15 seconds.
Today, we have wonderful solvents for everything, why folks go down this road is simply amazing.

Ah,no.

I'm a fanboy of Ed's Red ever since he described it to me nigh onto 40 years ago now. I feel it beats Hoppe's at its own game, and besides I still have over a gallon mixed up and contained in brown glass jugs (dispensed into a brown glass bottle).

Copper fouling solvents are another story - I've experimented with every elixir that's come down the pike and haven't settled on a favorite and I guess I never will.

My new bore cleaning system. I find it makes the mundane chore of cleaning barrels almost enjoyable.

Wes,
You failed to mention which bottle had which?  Is the brown bottle bourbon and the clear bottle Bore Tech C4, or is the brown bottle Hoppes and the clear bottle Tequila?  I think either way they'll work fine on the rifle, but switched around, I guess they'll clean you out too.  Grin Grin Grin

copper, if not too bad, responds pretty well to Sweet's 7.62. Horrible smelling, so keep your wife away while the jug is open.
