I have a 40-50 SS on a CPA action with a Douglas 14 twist barrel.  Load is a Saeco 640 bullet from 16/1 lead, 30-40 Krag case 1.89" long, 49.5 g Swiss 2F, CCI large pistol primers, 1236 FPS, ES of 11.5, SD 3.4. In testing hit 7 of 8 rams. All went down. Hope to shoot it in a match later this month. Dan

Yeah, when I got to rams I had 10 rounds left. Took 2 to get on. Then first 3 hit were a little low so of course I held just high enough to send it over the back, lol. Then held center for the next 4 and got all hits. Looking forward to trying it in a match in a couple weeks. Dan
