Wanted: 38-70 brass.

I just picked up a high wall barrel that I bought from eBay.  The seller said it was a 38-72 but a chamber case indicated that it most likely a 38-70.  I would like to purchase a few cases to try out.

Thanks

Jack

Looks like Buffalo Arms has some in stock. I didn’t see it when I first looked.

They should be a relatively simple reform from 45-90 if you have dies.  Buffalo arms ones are reformed starline 45-90.

I agree Dave.  If I had dies Smiley. Not sure I am going to keep this barrel so I will buy 25 cases to play with I guess.  CH shows a sizing die only for $130.  My 38-55 seating die and M dies should work OK I assume.

Thanks
