A lot will depend on the condition of the rifle and how well your ammunition is matched to the chamber and bore.  I had one that was a mid 1920’s Martini style action built by Anschuetz .  After monkeying around with it, it shot close to my 32-40 rifles. I was a using IMR 4227 and bullets cast from an Accurate mold.  I had the mold made to get past the long throat from the stop ring bullet.
