Here are the results of the one day fall match.  We had good conditions as shown by John Schauf's 50 shot score.  Congratulations to match director Kurt Smith for a first in the 100 yd .22 match.  Using my BSA rifle . The 100 ys group match was supposed to be 5 shots but both shooters ended up shooting 6 shots so I declared the match a 6 shot match!

     

I want to make a shout out about my fellow competitor John Schauf.  I have been shooting with ever since I started with single shots.  For years he and his buddy would be shooting BP only and even ran the BP matches in Puyallup for a while.  Then he showed up in Tacoma with a CPA bench gun in 32 CPA.  Back then I could beat him in a match. Not anymore.  I remember one match whee he was too embarrassed to even turn in his targets.  Then he started getting better, fast.  He made some moulds for a few years that were custom lathe bored.  I bought one.  It is probably the best machined mould I own.  John runs the CBA matches in Puyallup and holds several CBA records.  It seems every time I shoot a 50 shot ASSRA match with him he seems shoots a 1240+.  A really nice and humble guy too.  His 1242 on Saturday included 3 249s.  Watch out for him
