For those that may want an original I recently came into a Maynard tang sight in decent shape. 7/8" hole spacing with a 3 5/8" height. The mounting screws and pivot screw are somewhat buggered but the two small adjustment screws for windage and  elevation are in good shape.  $150 plus $12.00 shipping or will swap for a Lyman or Marbles peep sight for Remington model 24

     I remember you said you were busy shooting all weekend.  I knew you would have jumped on it if it lasted very long.  I'll see what the screws look like.

I've found there to be a delicate balance on the elevation lock screw between enough tension to prevent recoil from increasing the elevation and looseness to permit easy adjustment for distance between relays without having to use a screwdriver.
