I have recieved three rifles in the last two years that have been damaged. Regardless of how they were packaged the seller and I worked it out over private message and phone calls. All worked out in the end for both parties. Accidents happen and that sucks but it has happened and there is nothing we can do now besides try to fix it at this point.
So you are aware it is 6:30 am here now and I am headed over to set up for a match. When that is done I will drive back home. This evening I will put together your return payment and get it ready to send out in the morning with tracking. It is Sunday so I can not do that today. I will still need an address to send your money. After all of this messaging private and public I have not recieved and address or phone number for you. When I get home I will also private message you my calendar of my events so you should know when to expect replies to your messages.

You have horible luck on buying guns. I have bought maybe dozen or two off the site and until now never had a problem.

Brian has proven to be a stand up guy. Despite the loss of value he has made me whole covered all my expenses involved with the gun. Really a crappy thing to happen to the gun but he accepted it like a gentleman.

Glad to hear you guys are working it out.  As the victim of several broken stocks thanks to UPS and USPS almost losing a Highwall, it’s very frustrating trying to ship a rifle now a days- especially across the country!

I recently bought a Ballard barreled action and some parts. When the UPS man gave it to me out of the truck I immediately saw the box was broken on one end. He was walking back to the truck and I stopped him. I made him wait until I had opened the box. It was broken on the stock end so I held my breath. It was wrapped in bubble wrap and tapped up pretty good. I dodged a bullet on it so to speak. I was sure it was probably broken. I usually ask the stock to be removed but forgot to on this one. Just got lucky on it I guess...

Anything is fixable. Let's see the damage (but perhaps in another thread in the gunsmithing forum). Save every little tiny speck of wood that was ejected from the break.

Dennis Smith (The Stock Doctor) could fix it.
