If you wanted to use it in a match, the hardest part would be carrying the cast bullets. Seater can be a two-by-four and a sledge. Gonna be a poor choice for offhand, too.

Yeah but one well placed shot would take out the 25 AND 24 rings completely.

Did you drive or sail across?  Looks like nice weather.

Did you go to the small arms museum at Fort Worden?

Geographically challenged.  Assume it is west coast WA?  What sort of gun?  3"?  Year & type?

Fort Worden WA is at Port Townsend WA, Fort Flagler is South East across the bay. Defensive shore fortifications and all sorts of neat stuff in the area. Descriptions and films of all the shore guns are at the Museum at Fort Worden

I took a date to Port Townsend back in the early 90s. Spent the whole day there. She loved it so much she bought a house there. Didn't invite me however.  Sad

I miss it.

We skipped Ft Warden this trip so far. Have there several times.  Might hit it on the way out. We drove through Tacoma to drop off something at my daughter’s place so we went across the Narrows Bridge and the Hood Canal bridge. Will go home down the Hood canal
