	For Sale: Stevens Model 44 .22LR with Weaver 29S Scope This rifle has a matching serial numbers on the barrel and receiver. It started life chambered in ,25-20 SS, but has been relined and is now .22 Long Rifle. The action has two screws on the left side near the receiver ring, likely from a receiver sight. The barrel measures 26" long and has a very good (relined) bore. The action is in very good mechanical condition. The rifle has a standard blade front sight and a v-notch rear sight. It also has a Weaver 29S scope, 3x magnification rifle scope with a 3/4-inch diameter body. The stocks are custom and in good to very good condition. The forearm extends past the octagonal part of the barrel and is inlet for both the octagonal and round portions. The buttplate is a hair larger than the end of the buttstock.
