OAC Collector gun show

Our collector show is over for this year again, and it was a huge success. Lots of wonderful displays, although mine was the only display of single shot rifles. I also provided the single shots for the RSA group's display.
This was my display of single shots by Custom Makers of the late 1800's.

Starting at the top is my A.W. Peterson .22LR Ballard, 8x Unertl scope.
2nd down-Carlos Gove underlever conversion Rolling Block with Farrow 12 groove, false muzzle .32-40 barrel.
3rd down-Arthur Hubalek Special striker conversion Ballard in .22LR and 20x Hubalek scope, Hubalek triggers.
4th down-George C Schoyen Ballard #6 factory engraved with heavy .32-40 Schoyen barrel, Sidle 10x scope.
5th down-Ballard Union Hill with Stevens-Pope barrel, rebored by Ken Bresien in 1982 to .32-40 Fecker 10x scope.
On the table right side rear-Zetttler Bros. Ballard #6 with .22 Short barrel, Pope rings on a Stevens scope.
Right side front-O.A. Bremer Ballard #10 in .32-40
Left side-Winchester High Wall by O.A. Bremer with George C. Schoyen .32-40 barrel.
In the glass case-Top Arthur Hubalek Model 1891 Remington in .22LR
Bottom case-HM Pope Model 1891 Remington in .22 Short, setup for Olympic shooting and threaded for Maxim silencer. below is a Maxim silencer salesmen's cutaway sample.

Nice to see you there Vall.  I wish I had found a nice high wall to buy. I did try to buy yours though. Smiley

Right after you left a nice one came in the doors and showed up at my table! A High Wall in .32-40 with DST, Small Swiss buttplate, #2 barrel. Special Sporting and looked all original.

I will take out a second mortgage.  If the plain 32-40 sporting rifle was worth the $6500 asking price then 10K is about right.  I could make monthly payments.
