My love for these BPCR starts at a very young age with the 11mm roller, .43 Spanish and later with several .44 calibers. Load data for the .44's have changed over the years as well as diameters. The old roller .44's were more of a .45 than a .44.

Sorry, forgot to post the load I use for my .44-77's.
84 gr of 1.5 Swiss
508 gr bullet of the original profile 
Also a 475 gr with the same ogive profile as the 508 for my 19 and 17 ROT barrels
I use no lube with these PP bullets. Just a .060 NAPA Karropak gasket wad.
